Description of your missions
As part of the strengthening and structuring of Elements' Lyonnaise branch, and in line with company policy, you will be responsible for prospecting and securing a portfolio of new renewable energy production projects in relation with local partners (owners, business providers, local authorities, residents, etc.), covering the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
Your main tasks will be as follows:
- Identification of potential project development sites
- Pre-feasibility study of identified sites, analysis of competitive context and technical, political, environmental and landscape constraints.
- Canvassing town councils and landowners to initiate and secure new projects (signing long-term lease agreements, obtaining favorable resolutions from the relevant town councils).
- Consultations with government departments and public bodies in order to put together high-quality dossiers for development projects (DDT, CDPENAF, Chamber of Agriculture, etc.).
- Development of a network of business introducers
- Coordination with development team to obtain building permits
- Maintaining good relations with the whole region during project development
As an experienced prospector, you will support the branch manager in leading the life of the branch, in particular by taking part in regional events (trade fairs, public meetings, elected representatives' working meetings, committees, etc.).
Frequent travel in the field is planned in the assigned departments.
Skills required
- 5 years' higher education
- At least 3 years' experience in prospecting for renewable energy projects
- Good knowledge of the operation of renewable technologies (ground & floating PV, agriPV, roofs and shades...)
- Oral presentation and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the agricultural world appreciated
- B license
