Located on Charlotte Lake, this project is conducted in co-development with Laketricity, a subsidiary of the Ciel et Terre group, the French pioneer of floating solar energy. The lake is made available by the ASA of Charlotte, an association of irrigators.

The power plant will have to adapt to the high tidal range during the summer period. The reservoir will allow, thanks to the floating park, to combine the production of electricity and irrigation. The covering of the lake will allow to decrease the evaporation of the water.
