Description of your missions

Reporting to the CFO, the Accounting Manager will be in charge of the accounting department. He/she will supervise the team, ensure the conformity of the accounts and monitor the overall financial situation.

Your main tasks will be as follows:

Accounting:

  • Supervision of general and cost accounting for Group companies in France
  • Ensures proper day-to-day bookkeeping and management of month-end transactions
  • Supervision of the preparation of periodic quarterly accounting statements and annual financial statements
  • Supervision and control of the preparation of periodic and year-end tax returns (tax packages).
  • Organization and supervision of annual closings and relations with statutory auditors
  • Supervision of VAT and other tax returns (CVAE, CFE, etc.)
  • Supervision of invoicing (co-developments, electricity sales, asset disposals) as well as invoicing of inter-company flows
  • Management of quarterly calls for funds in relation with the various partners
  • Coordination of activities carried out by the accounting team (4 employees)
  • Implementation and formalization of accounting and tax processes and procedures for all Group departments

Treasury:

  • Supervision of daily cash flow and control of payment compliance

Legal:

  • Ensure that contractual commitments (corporate or project) are properly recorded.
  • Coordination with the corporate legal team for company incorporations and approvals of accounts or setting up agreements...

Human Resources:

  • Management of the NDF control policy after validation by the various managers and payment.

Skills required

  • BAC+5 (business school / university)
  • Ideally, you have ten years' experience in both a law firm and a company.
  • You have experience in monitoring groups of companies, ideally in the renewable energies or property development sectors.
  • You have solid experience in team management
  • You will have accounting and tax experience, and be able to produce your own annual financial statements and tax returns in conjunction with the statutory auditors.

  • Expertise in monitoring groups of companies, ideally in the energy market
  • Ability to manage, organize and steer, autonomy
  • Ability to analyze and summarize for N+1
  • Appetence for digitalization tools and process optimization research
  • Solid accounting and tax skills
  • Good knowledge of legal aspects
