Description of your missions

As part of a dynamic team on a human scale, you will report to the Director of the Financing & M&A
with close interaction with the Development, Construction, Legal and Controlling teams.

You will be involved in projects in France, as well as in the operations of our international
subsidiaries.

Your main tasks will be as follows:

Funding:

  • Arranging senior debt for renewable energy projects (PV, wind, hydro, storage), junior financing
    and equity financing
    - Analysis of bankability and business plans
    - Drafting of teasers, information memoranda and term sheets
    - Negotiation of financing terms with commercial banks, multilateral institutions
    or investment funds
    - Coordination of audits: technical, legal, tax, insurance, models
    - Preparation of legal credit documentation and hedging instruments
  • Follow-up of post-financing obligations in conjunction with Operations and Controlling
  • Active monitoring of market trends

 

Transactions :

  • Project analysis and presentation to investment/divestment committee
  • Total or partial disposals, and occasional acquisitions
  • Coordination of advice, negotiation, legal security through to signature
  • Active monitoring of market trends

Strategic partnerships :

  •  Support for the structuring of co-developments or co-investments
  •  Negotiation and implementation of partnership agreements, contracts, etc.

Cross-functional projects and continuous improvement :

  • Project portfolio valuation
  • Validation of the bankability of PPA contracts, aggregation
  •  Financial support for other divisions
  • Optimization of internal tools and processes (e.g. updating investment criteria, project business plans, etc.).

 

Core competencies

  • 2 to 3 years' experience in finance, ideally in project finance or M&A, and preferably in renewable energies (developer, bank, consultancy, fund)
    ENR (developer, bank, consultant, fund)
  • Bac+5: business school, engineering school or university
  • Sound financial and legal knowledge (credit documents, partnership agreements, SPA, etc.)
  • Excellent Excel skills for financial modeling
  • Fluent English essential (written and spoken)
