We had the pleasure of inaugurating the Castres Gironde ground-mounted photovoltaic park in July.
Located to the south-west of the commune of Castres Gironde in the Gironde département (33), this photovoltaic park on a former gravel pit covering an area of around 5 hectares, with a capacity of 4.13 MWp, produces an annual average of 5.12 GWh, equivalent to the annual consumption of around 1,000 households, or some 2,160 inhabitants. The first electrons were injected into the grid last February.

At the inauguration, we were delighted to welcome children from the local leisure center, who were delighted to cut the ribbon with Mrs. Gracia Perez, Mayor of Castres Gironde. They were able to visit the park with Gabin Mottal, and discover the proposed educational trail explaining how the power plant works, and the issues involved in preserving the local flora and fauna. Many thanks to Atelier Nature et Territoires for these magnificent plates.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this project a reality, and to everyone who took part in this wonderful event!
