☀️ It was under a bright autumn sun that we kicked off the construction of the Montredon-des-Corbières photovoltaic power plant, bringing together over breakfast the elected representatives, association representatives and technical teams who, from November 12 onwards, will be working in the commune to bring this 4.95 MWp ground-mounted photovoltaic project, with almost 7,900 modules installed, out of the ground.
🚧 Asbestos removal operations, now completed, have removed 8.4 tonnes of asbestos.
This project is fully in line with the local energy transition:
- A brownfield site (a former car junkyard) rehabilitated after an extensive decontamination and waste treatment operation.
- A major environmental challenge, with specific avoidance, reduction and compensation measures to preserve biodiversity.
Commissioning is scheduled for mid-May 2026, with delivery of the substation in April 2026.
