We are proud to support Union des Distilleries de la Méditerranée in a new 6MWp project on their industrial site in Vauvert.
🎯 The challenge:
UDM suffered from the exposure of many of these materials to the elements, rain and wind in particular, making it more difficult to manage their quality, generating losses and very significantly increasing the quantities of soiled runoff to be reprocessed.
💡 Our solution:
We cover 3 strategic areas (total surface area of 27,000 m²):
- The composting area,
- Grape marc storage silos,
- Collection bins.
These covers, financed by the installation of photovoltaic panels, enable :
- Separate clean water and redirect it to retention basins for reuse in the industrial process,
- Reduce the volume of sludge to be treated and recycle it on site,
- Produce electricity from solar energy without further impacting the natural environment. The electricity generated will then be fed back into the public distribution network, supplying around 1,900 households.
🌍 A lasting environmental and economic impact
This project is a perfect illustration of our ambition to combine our partners' challenges with our expertise, offering solutions tailored to meet local environmental challenges.
A big thank you to UDM for their renewed confidence!
