The Sauzet hydroelectric power plant project is located on the Gardon river in the Gard department. It consists in equipping an existing weir with a VLH turbine on the right bank of the Gardon. The projected power is 500 kW. The power plant project was authorized by prefectural decree in June 2021. The commissioning of the plant is planned for the beginning of 2023.

The project was handed over to Eiffage Energie for operation.
